Faith and Action Testimony from Our Customer

Today, I decided to wear my pink Momentum hat to school. I wanted to look cool, I’ll be honest, but I also wanted to share Jesus with people.

At lunch, I go to a Bible study with my boyfriend Brock. The club sponsor is one of the PE coaches. I don’t know where he is with the Lord, but I do know that he did say at one point “Jesus is not God.” Before we dove into the study, I asked him if he liked my hat, and he said “Yes, I do.”

During our study of Philippians 2, we came across the verse Phil 2:10-11 ("That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."  

— Philippians 2:10-11, NIV) the student leader of the club said boldly, for everyone to hear, “Even coach D. will declare that Jesus is God! Even though he doesn’t believe that he will!” I said “hallelujah” because I felt like saying it in my spirit. Coach D. got defensive to that. My boyfriend and I had a respectful argument with Coach D. That yes, Jesus is God and that He is one with God.

I also showed my hat to other teachers and quoted the verse on the back to my very chaotic math teacher who needs Jesus. I shared why Christians count trials as joy and that we can grow from them – taking it from a Christian perspective. ("Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
— James 1:2-4, NIV)

I told another teacher about the debate Brock, and I had with Coach D, and found out that she also believes that Jesus is God.

Because I wore my momentum hat, I can share my faith with other people simply by pointing out my piece of merch. It is easier to declare your faith to other people with a conversation starter, and for me, that is Momentum Faithwear!

Thank you, Greg and Vicki for letting God use you so others can proclaim His name by your faith! I pray people can live their faith and Momentum would be a reminder why they get up every day, serve God and bring others right along to the Kingdom of Heaven!
